Small and mid-sized audit firms are expected to meet the same standards as global networks, but without their resources, tools, or budgets. We believe this gap is unacceptable.
DocMaster was built specifically for the underserved SME audit segment. We are part of an audit group ourselves. We audit. We review working papers. We deal with messy client documents and tight deadlines. We know the pressure, the inefficiencies, and the wasted hours.
Our mission is simple: give smaller audit firms the same technological leverage as the largest players — without enterprise complexity, inflated pricing, or unnecessary features.
AI and automation are not trends for us. They are practical tools to remove repetitive work, reduce risk, and allow auditors to focus on judgment, not manual document handling.

 We do not build software for audit firms. We build software as an audit firm. DocMaster is developed within an audit environment, used in real engagements, and shaped by actual file reviews, documentation standards, and regulatory pressure.
Practical AI, Not Marketing AI
 We apply automation only where it reduces manual work, increases consistency, and lowers audit risk. If a feature does not improve documentation quality or efficiency, it does not belong in the product.
Security by Design
Audit data is sensitive. We operate within EU infrastructure, use encrypted transmission, avoid persistent storage, and do not use client data for model training. Compliance and confidentiality are not optional features.

Meet the Founder
Pauls Bite
Co-Founder & CEO
Pauls Bite is a certified auditor with practical experience in statutory audits of small and mid-sized companies. His professional work exposed a recurring problem in audit engagements: while audit standards and methodology were clear, the tools used to execute and document audits were often inefficient, fragmented, and poorly aligned with real audit workflows.
Rather than adjusting audit practice to fit existing software, Pauls focused on developing tools that follow how audits are actually planned, performed, and documented under ISA. The objective is not to automate professional judgement, but to reduce unnecessary manual work and administrative friction, allowing auditors to focus on risk assessment, analysis, and conclusions.
